Okay seriously?

Like every single girl (excluding my friends from school) got asked to prom…even ones who lack personality…even ones who aren’t that pretty (yeah it’s shallow but I am confident that I am more attractive than they are.)

What do they have that I don’t?

I’m confident, I’m fun, I’m nice…What’s missing?

It’s just really frustrating to be constantly told by friends/family that I’m such an amazing person when clearly no members of the male specie seem to agree…or see that, for that matter.

Or, when family members say “I can’t believe you weren’t asked to prom” or “You should’ve been asked to prom.”

Well guess what? I wasn’t. And yes, I’m trying to figure out why.

I totally could’ve brought a date from outside of school, but did I REALLY want to remember my last big dance being spent with someone I used to know? Or never even really knew? Or brought just to say I had a date? That’s not me. Plus, who wants to spend $75? Not moi!

My point is… Cats.

But seriously, college better be better than high school. Hopefully the guys there are more evolved in the departments of common courtesy and non-douchiness.
